A Message from the 2026 President
Welcome to another exciting year with the Women’s Council of Realtors® Northern Michigan. “Our mission is to be a network of successful REALTORS®, advancing women as business leaders in the industry and in the communities we serve.” These words are more than a statement -they are a call to action. They challenge us to elevate one another, strengthen our businesses, and lead with intention and integrity. As we look ahead to 2026, our vision is grounded in a return to fundamentals – getting back to basics. At its core, Northern Michigan has always been built on education, engagement, and active participation across our membership. As our industry continues to evolve, it has become clear that there is a renewed need for high-impact education, compelling speakers, and – most importantly—meaningful community. True involvement cannot be mandated; it must be cultivated. One of our most important responsibilities this year will be recognizing and encouraging emerging leaders – those subtle hands raised, the quiet contributors, the members with vision and potential. Ensuring that no future leader goes unnoticed will be critical not only to our success in 2026, but to the long-term strength of our network. Historically, Northern Michigan has thrived because of a dedicated group of individuals who believed deeply in this mission and consistently showed up. Their commitment—to education, leadership, and service—set a standard we are proud to continue. Education will be the cornerstone of our year. Through relevant, high-value programming delivered in engaging and enjoyable ways, we aim to make learning both impactful and irresistible. Let us commit to a year that is both productive and fulfilling. By fostering collaboration, sharing expertise, and supporting one another, we can achieve exceptional outcomes. I am confident that 2026 will be defined by strong programming, inspired leadership, and lasting professional connections. Thank you for being an essential part of this extraordinary network. Your dedication, energy, and vision are what make our council strong. Together, let’s make 2026 a year to remember.
